Housecall Pro integration
Housecall Pro Integration for the Shop That Answers Its Own Phone
The owner is also the dispatcher, the estimator and, after dinner, the bookkeeper. Housecall Pro was bought so one person could run all of that from a phone. The website should be the one part of the business that needs nobody at all.

The short answer
A Housecall Pro website integration sends what happens on your site into Housecall Pro without retyping: bookings become jobs, form requests become leads in Job Inbox, and the lead source and ad details travel with them. Housecall Pro's embeds work on every plan; a custom connection uses its API and webhooks, which Housecall Pro offers only on the Max plan.

A four-truck shop, one owner and a website that still emails
Picture a plumber with four trucks and a spouse who runs the office three days a week. They chose Housecall Pro because it fit: the schedule, the invoices and the customer texts all live in one app, and nobody had to sit through a six-month rollout. Then there is the website. It was built years ago, it has a contact form, and that form sends an email to a Gmail address that gets checked when somebody remembers.
Every lead from that form takes the long way around. Someone reads it, opens Housecall Pro, searches to see whether the customer already exists, types the name, the address and the problem, and picks a lead source from memory. On a slow Tuesday the trip takes four minutes. On the first hot Saturday of summer it takes until Monday, and by then the customer has booked the company whose site let them pick a time on the spot.
The cheapest employee a small shop can hire is a website that files its own paperwork.
This section is for that shop and its cousins: owner-operators and teams of 2 to 30 technicians in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, cleaning, lawn care, pest control and the other home services that picked Housecall Pro instead of a heavier system. It covers what Housecall Pro already does for a website, what a custom build adds, which plan each piece needs, and what we charge to do the work.
Who Housecall Pro fits, and the plan line that matters for a website
Housecall Pro sells three plans, and its pricing page publishes the numbers, which already sets it apart from some rivals. As of November 2026, Basic is $59 a month billed annually ($79 month to month) for one user, Essentials is $149 annually ($189 monthly) for five users, and Max is $299 annually ($329 monthly) for eight users, with more users on Max at $35 each. Introductory offers come and go; check the pricing page before you budget.
For a website, one line on that page decides most of the plan: the API sits on Max. Housecall Pro's help center says it plainly, "API is available only to Pros on a MAX plan," and its webhooks article says the same about webhooks. A shop on Basic or Essentials can still put Housecall Pro's booking button on its site, and the Lead Form article names no plan requirement. What it cannot do is let its own website server create leads, read open booking windows or hear about a finished job.

What Housecall Pro hands a website, and the gap a custom build fills
Housecall Pro ships more website tools than most owners realize. The table sets them beside what a custom build adds, as the vendor's own help center describes them in November 2026. Read the middle column first. If it covers your shop, keep your money.
| Housecall Pro provides | A custom website build adds | |
|---|---|---|
| Booking | An embed code for a Book online button that opens in a modal window (booking is listed on every plan), a hosted link and Reserve with Google | A booking step designed into each service page, reading open windows through the API on Max and carrying the ad source |
| Lead capture | A Lead Form you embed with a Copy code button; every added field becomes required, and submissions land in Job Inbox | Forms per service with optional fields, server-side checks, duplicate matching and the lead source set from the visit |
| Lead sources | System sources such as My Website (Online Booking) and Google Reserve, custom sources, and lead source reports | A precise source per page, campaign and ad, written by the site instead of picked by memory |
| Reserve with Google and a Local Services Ads connection that creates LSA leads in Job Inbox | Pages that rank in the map and organic results, built to send the same caller to the right booking step | |
| Calls | A CallRail connection that looks up whether a caller is already a customer | Tracked numbers on the site and a record of which page and ad preceded the call |
| Ads | No Google Ads, Meta or GA4 conversion feature in the sources we read | Click IDs stored with the lead, and paid jobs reported back to Google Ads |
Two details in that table trip people up. The Lead Form makes every field you add mandatory, so a form that asks for an address, a service and a custom question asks for all three before anyone can submit. And the native Zapier app, per Zapier's own listing, offers two triggers and a single action, Create Customer, so a zap cannot turn a web form into a Housecall Pro lead or job by itself. Our Housecall Pro lead forms page covers both.
Find your page: five ways into this section
Each page answers one question a Housecall Pro shop asks before spending money on its website. Pick the row that sounds like your week.
| Page | Read it when |
|---|---|
| Online booking | Customers want to choose a time on your site, and you wonder whether the Book online modal is enough |
| Lead forms | Web requests arrive by email, or the native form asks too much and loses people halfway |
| The Housecall Pro API | You or a developer want the exact list of what the API reads and writes, and what Max adds |
| Marketing attribution | Every job says Google or Website and nobody can tell which ad paid for itself |
| ServiceTitan vs Housecall Pro vs Jobber | You are still choosing field software and want the website side of the comparison |
Running Jobber instead, or weighing the two? The sister Jobber integration section treats that platform with the same care. Larger HVAC, plumbing and electrical companies on ServiceTitan have their own ServiceTitan integration section, and FieldEdge shops have the FieldEdge integration pages.
Max plan mechanics in plain English
When the custom route is right, here is what it rests on. An Admin user in your account generates an API key under My Apps, names it and chooses Full access or Read-only. A website that creates leads needs Full access; a dashboard that only reads can live with Read-only, and we ask for the narrower one whenever it will do. The key travels in an Authorization header on every request, which makes it as sensitive as a password. Housecall Pro's own help article warns that a key gives its holder access to all of the data in the account.
- Customers. Search by name, email, mobile number or address before creating anyone, so a returning customer stays one record.
- Leads. Create a lead for a new or existing customer with its lead source, tags and a note, then convert it to an estimate or job later.
- Jobs and appointments. Create a job for a known customer and address, set its schedule, and add or move appointments.
- Booking windows. Read the open windows your Online Booking settings and each employee's calendar allow.
- Webhooks. Receive signed events for jobs, estimates, leads, invoices and customers, so the site hears when a job is scheduled, finished or paid.
Housecall Pro also states its limits on support: it cannot build or maintain custom integrations made with API keys and does not give dedicated support on API requests. That is fair, and it is why the builder matters. We publish no rate limit for Housecall Pro because we found none, and no sandbox is described, so testing runs in your account with labeled test records. The full read on the endpoints is on our Housecall Pro API guide.
Proof from our own trade work, with no borrowed logos
We are a web studio in San Antonio, Texas. We build custom sites on Next.js with Athena CMS, our own content system, and we run SEO, ads and local marketing for companies across the country. We are not a Housecall Pro partner, not certified by Housecall Pro and not listed anywhere by it. None of the projects below runs on Housecall Pro, and HomeService WebApp syncs with ServiceTitan. Each one shows a skill a Housecall Pro build needs.
Bleuwave Plumbing, Phoenix
An estimate panel that doubles as triage: a homeowner who cannot name the problem picks a help-me-figure-it-out path, and an emergency flag pushes an active leak to the front. Read the case study.
Bleuwave HVAC, Phoenix
An Instant Estimate that gives a flat-rate number in seconds instead of a promise to call back, on a fast Next.js build. See the HVAC project.
Bleuwave Electrical, Phoenix
More than 1,400 service pages and 36 location pages, so a search for a panel upgrade in one suburb lands on a page about exactly that. The electrical build.
HomeService WebApp
A contractor command center that puts every open estimate, customer and overdue follow-up on one screen, with an API layer that syncs jobs and estimates both ways. How it works.
LeadBolt and TeamAIOps
Our own products. LeadBolt answers web, phone and marketplace leads in under a minute; TeamAIOps runs AI employees that answer web chat and email in seconds. Neither is a Housecall Pro integration.
The method is the one our API integrations service uses between any two systems: a field map agreed on paper first, every lead checked on the server, keys kept out of the browser, failed sends queued and retried, idempotent writes so a retry never makes a second lead, and a log the office can read. Roofers on AccuLynx and JobNimbus will find the same approach in the AccuLynx section and the JobNimbus pages.
What we charge, and the cheapest way to find out what you need
New sites and redesigns are a fixed price by page count: $1,500 for up to 10 pages, $2,250 for 11 to 20, $3,750 for 21 to 50, and $5,750 for 51 to 70, the package we recommend because that page depth gives the best start in organic search. Every package includes design, writing, SEO, Athena CMS, lead form capture, online booking, one custom third-party API integration and a year of support, per our web design pricing. Connecting a site you already have to Housecall Pro starts at $575, depending on complexity, quoted after a free review; a two-system connection typically goes live the same day.
With 0% website financing, 25% goes down and the rest spreads over up to twelve months: the $5,750 site is $1,437.50 down, then $359.38 a month. Hosting and maintenance plans start at $55 a month with no long contract. Ad tracking falls under conversion tracking setup. Your Housecall Pro subscription is billed by Housecall Pro and is not part of our price.

Questions contractors ask about Housecall Pro integration
For Housecall Pro's own booking button, any plan: the pricing page lists online booking on Basic. The Lead Form article names no plan at all. For a custom connection, Max. Housecall Pro's help center says the API and webhooks are available only on the Max plan, which is $299 a month billed annually as of November 2026.
Yes. Housecall Pro gives you embed code that adds a Book online button opening the booking flow in a modal window on top of your site, plus a hosted link for places where code cannot go, such as social profiles. Our online booking page explains when the modal is enough and when a custom flow pays off.
No. We hold no partner status with Housecall Pro, no certification, and no listing in any Housecall Pro directory. We build websites and connect them to Housecall Pro's published API with a key that an Admin in your own account creates. We never ask for your Housecall Pro login.
Yes, two ways. Housecall Pro's Lead Form, an embed code, creates a lead in Job Inbox, with every added field required. On Max, a custom form can create the lead through the API, find an existing customer first, and set the lead source, tags and note. The native Zapier app can only create customers, not leads.
A typical connection between two systems goes live the same day, per our API integrations page, after the field map is agreed. A full new site with the connection takes longer, and we give a date with the fixed quote. Testing happens in your live account with labeled test records.
Not in anything we found. Housecall Pro's pages describe lead sources, tracking attributes on booking links and a Local Services Ads connection, but no Google Ads conversion feature. A custom build stores the click ID with the lead and reports paid jobs back to Google; the attribution guide shows the loop.
