Avada Theme Price (2026): Regular vs Extended License, Support Math and the One-Site Rule

Sixty-nine dollars buys Avada, and the price has the virtue of being one number. The questions start after checkout: what counts as one site, what support costs once the six months run out, and when a license quietly needs to cost $2,950 instead.

The short answer

As of October 2026, the Avada theme price on ThemeForest is $69 for a Regular License or $2,950 for an Extended License. Each covers one end product, with future updates and six months of ThemeFusion support. Twelve months of support costs $21.38 more at checkout. You need the Extended License when end users pay to access what you build.

Two licenses, three ways to buy support

We rechecked the ThemeForest listing on October 6, 2026: the prices match our Avada review, version 7.16 is current, and the sales counter read 1,072,657. Avada has no free version. Every purchase goes through Envato's marketplace, and ThemeFusion's own documentation explains that the $69 includes a $12 Envato buyer fee, so the item price that support is calculated on is $57.

Avada licenses and support options as of October 2026
PriceBillingSitesWhat you get
Regular License$69One payment1 end product, free to its usersTheme, Avada Core and Builder, six bundled premium plugins, future updates, 6 months of support
Extended License$2,950One payment1 end product its users pay forThe same files, updates and 6 months of support
Support upgrade at checkout$21.38One paymentPer license6 more months, 12 in total (37.5% of the $57 item price)
Extension while support is activeAbout $35.63Per 6 monthsPer license6 more months (62.5% of the item price)
Renewal after support lapsesAbout $49.88Per 6 monthsPer license6 months (87.5% of the item price)

The percentages come from ThemeFusion's support documentation; the dollar figures are our arithmetic on the $57 item price. ThemeForest displays the checkout upgrade as a discount from $49.88, which is exactly what the after-lapse renewal comes to. Support is cheapest on the day you buy and most expensive after it has expired, a pricing curve that rewards deciding early.

One end product, read the way Envato reads it

Envato's standard licenses define an end product as the finished thing that incorporates the item, here a website. The Regular License covers one end product that end users are not charged for. The Extended License covers one that end users can be charged for. Envato's license FAQ puts the test in plain terms: as long as all end users can freely access the end product, the Regular License is fine; if they need to pay to see it, you need the Extended License.

  • One business website: Regular License. You may charge a client for your work building it; the FAQ says the license in effect transfers to that client.
  • Ten client websites: ten Regular Licenses, $690. Envato requires one license per customized end product.
  • An online store anyone can browse: by that wording, Regular, since visitors can see the site without paying. Read Envato's FAQ if your case is unusual.
  • A paid membership site or a subscription product: Extended License, $2,950, because users pay to see the end product.
  • A template you resell to many clients: not allowed under either standard license.

Support runs out; updates keep arriving

This is the clause that makes Avada's one-time price honest. ThemeFusion's documentation says that if you do not renew support, you will continue to receive Avada updates, keep access to My Avada with your full support history, and keep the documentation and video tutorials. What you lose is hands-on help from their team. Buyers from before September 1, 2015 hold grandfathered free support for life.

Updates do depend on registration. The purchase code ties the site to the license, and the vendor's FAQ says an Envato token stays valid for only 10 extra days after you update, after which a purchase code is required. When a site's registration was done by a freelancer who has since vanished, updates stall and the site drifts. Our Avada repair hub covers the way back, starting with update problems. Updates also matter for safety: version 7.16.2, released September 30, 2026, patched six vulnerabilities.

Refunds follow Envato's rules, not ThemeFusion's. There is no refund for changing your mind or buying by mistake. A refund may apply if the item is not as described, is broken and cannot be fixed, has an unpatched security hole, lacks the promised support, or was never downloaded within 30 days.

What $69 buys that other themes charge for separately

Avada's real bargain is its bundle. A registered license brings six premium plugins: Slider Revolution, LayerSlider, ACF Pro, Convert Plus, FileBird Pro and Avada Custom Branding. For scale, ACF PRO bought directly from its maker costs $49 a year for one site as of October 2026, which alone is most of Avada's price. The theme also carries its own Form Builder, Mega Menu, Off-Canvas and WooCommerce builders, so a typical Avada site needs no forms plugin and no separate page builder.

The catch is that the bundle arrives through the registration. The required Avada Core and Avada Builder plugins must stay in step with the theme, and the premium plugins become available only once the site is registered. A broken registration therefore stalls more than the theme. Keep it healthy, and the bundle stays one of the better deals on ThemeForest. Store owners should also read our Avada WooCommerce guide before adding store plugins the theme already covers.

An Avada business site, priced for year one and year three

Here is one site on a Regular License with the support upgrade bought at checkout. Avada covers forms, custom fields and sliders, so the remaining lines are caching, SEO, backups and security. Third-party prices were checked on the makers' pages on October 6, 2026.

One Avada site, licenses only, as of October 2026
Year oneYear three, no supportYear three, support kept
Avada Regular License$69$0$0
Support$21.38 (12 months)$0About $71.26 (two 6-month extensions)
WP Rocket Single (caching)$59.95$59.95$59.95
Forms, sliders, custom fields$0, bundled$0$0
SEO, backups, security pluginsVariesVariesVaries
Total listed$150.33$59.95About $131.21

Three years comes to about $270 if you let support lapse after the first year, or about $413 if you keep it running without a gap. Skip the caching line if your host's server cache does the job. The figure no table shows is the tuning time: Avada's speed depends on its Performance Wizard, critical CSS and cache clearing after each update, all covered in our Avada speed guide and the CSS not updating fix.

Per site forever against unlimited sites by the year

Avada has no lifetime plan because it does not need one: the license never expires and updates keep coming. The comparison that matters is per-site pricing against the unlimited plans sold by Divi and Bricks, at October 2026 prices, licenses only.

Theme licensing over five years, one site vs ten sites
One site, five yearsTen sites, five years
Avada Regular$69$690
Divi Lifetime$249$249
Divi yearly$445$445
Bricks Starter or Agency yearly$395 (Starter)$1,245 (Agency)
Bricks Ultimate Lifetime$599$599

For one site, Avada is the cheapest license here by a wide margin. For an agency, it is among the most expensive, and the gap widens with every client. The details of the other two are on the Divi pricing and Bricks pricing pages, and the ThemeForest sibling with a $3,999 Extended License is covered in WoodMart pricing.

Ways to keep Avada at sixty-nine dollars

  • Decide on support at checkout. It costs 37.5% of the item price then, 62.5% later and 87.5% after it lapses.
  • Register in the owner's account. The purchase code is the key to updates and the bundle. Keep it with the business.
  • Do not double-buy plugins. ACF Pro, two sliders and a form builder are already in the box.
  • Settle the Extended question before launch. Adding paid access later changes the license you need.
  • Count sites honestly. Reusing one license across several sites breaks Envato's terms, and a cheap shortcut is a poor foundation for a business site.

If you would rather someone else keep the theme, Core and Builder in step, our Avada developers do exactly that, and our hosting and maintenance plans test each update before it reaches the live site.

What the bundle money buys in a Next.js build

Avada's price is low because the costs sit elsewhere: in the plugin weight a bundle brings, the registration that has to stay healthy, and the hours spent tuning for speed. A custom Next.js site has no license, no bundle and no registration. Pages are prerendered and served from a CDN, packages are pinned and tested in a build, and features such as forms or memberships are written into the site. It costs more up front, and layout changes need a developer.

Owners edit in Athena CMS, included with every site we build: plain fields, a real preview, every version kept, with agents such as Aegis checking daily for intrusions and Argus watching for broken forms. The long view is in WordPress vs Next.js cost, the move itself in WordPress to Next.js migration cost and Avada to Next.js. Avada is still a fair buy for one site launched quickly from a prebuilt design. If you are unsure, compare Avada vs Next.js, Avada vs Divi and Avada vs Elementor, or start at the WordPress themes hub.

Questions people ask before they call

As of October 2026, Avada costs $69 for a Regular License on ThemeForest, which includes a $12 Envato buyer fee. That covers one website that is free to its users, future updates and six months of support. The Extended License, for an end product users pay for, costs $2,950.

No. Avada is a one-time purchase, and ThemeFusion says updates continue even after support expires. Only hands-on support renews: about $35.63 per six months while support is active, or about $49.88 per six months after it lapses, based on ThemeFusion's published percentages of the $57 item price.

No. Each Regular License covers one end product, so ten sites need ten licenses. You may build a site for a client on one license, and Envato's FAQ says the license in effect transfers to that client. Agencies with many sites should compare Avada with unlimited-site plans; see Divi pricing.

Envato's FAQ says the Regular License is fine as long as all end users can freely access the end product, and the Extended License is needed if they must pay to see it. A store anyone can browse fits the first description. A paid membership or subscription site fits the second. For edge cases, read Envato's license FAQ before buying.

Only under Envato's rules. There is no refund for a change of mind or a mistaken purchase. Refunds may apply when the item is not as described, is broken beyond the author's ability to fix, has an unpatched security issue, lacks the promised support, or was not downloaded within 30 days.
