OceanWP Pro Bundle Pricing (2026): Eight Tiers, Permanent-Looking Discounts and the Renewal Footnote
Every OceanWP price comes with a crossed-out twin, and no countdown says when the sale ends. Below the plans sits a footnote that decides what you pay in year two. Here is all of it, plus what the free theme does before you spend anything.

The short answer
As of October 2026, the OceanWP Pro Bundle costs $42, $51, $95 or $170 a year for 1, 3, 10 or 300 sites, or $168, $195, $351 or $629 once for lifetime. Each is shown against a higher struck-through price with no end date. New purchases get a 14-day refund. The theme itself is free on WordPress.org.

All eight Pro Bundle tiers, with their crossed-out twins
We loaded the Pro Bundle page on October 6, 2026. Every figure matches what our OceanWP review recorded, prices are in US dollars, and the page notes they are shown without VAT or tax. The struck-through number beside each is the list price; the bold one is what checkout charges today.
| Sites | Yearly | Lifetime | What the tier adds | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 1 | $42 (list $52) | $168 (list $210) | 14 premium and 7 free extensions, 201 pro and 17 free site templates, popup builder, custom post types, Elementor sections library limited to 20+ items, basic support |
| Personal | 3 | $51 (list $64) | $195 (list $244) | Everything in Starter, for three sites |
| Business | 10 | $95 (list $105) | $351 (list $390) | Adds Pixel Tracker, premium support, Freepik and Flaticon import, the full Elementor sections library of 100+ items, webinars and a private support group |
| Agency | 300 | $170 (list $189) | $629 (list $699) | Adds VIP support, one expert malware removal and the partner program, with a listing on oceanwp.org |
Every tier includes free localhost, staging and test licenses and unlimited domain changes, so moving a site from a development address to its real domain does not eat a slot. Pro Bundle buyers can also apply for 50% loyalty discounts on Ocean eCommerce Pro and Site Booster, which are separate products with their own price lists.
Sale prices without a deadline, and what renewals are based on
There is no countdown, banner or end date for the discount anywhere on the page. The small print explains the arrangement instead. During active promotions, it says, all pricing is special introductory pricing. Annual licenses are subscriptions, switched on by default at purchase and cancelable at any time. And annual renewals are "20% off full price at the time of the purchase."
That last sentence carries the year-two bill. If full price means the struck-through list price, renewals work out to about $41.60 for Starter, $51.20 for Personal, $84 for Business and $151.20 for Agency. That is roughly what Starter and Personal cost today, and less than Business and Agency do. It is our reading of one sentence, not a quote from the vendor, and list prices can move before your renewal date. Save the checkout summary and confirmation email, which the page says carry the subscription details, and read the renewal notice before it charges.
How far the free OceanWP gets you before checkout
Plenty of OceanWP sites never pay OceanWP a cent, and that is a legitimate choice. The free theme had 400,000+ active installs on WordPress.org at our check, and version 4.2.7 was published the same day. Its free companion plugin, Ocean Extra, had 500,000+ installs of its own and adds the extra features most OceanWP sites lean on.
Free covers
- Eight header types and three mobile menu styles in the Customizer
- Built-in WooCommerce styling: quick view, off-canvas filter, multi-step checkout and a floating add-to-cart bar
- Customizer performance switches, including where custom CSS loads
- 7 free extensions and 17 free full-site templates
- Compatibility with Elementor, Beaver Builder, Divi and other builders
The Pro Bundle adds
- 14 premium extensions, plus a popup builder and custom post types
- 201 pro full-site templates
- An Elementor sections library, limited or full by tier
- Pixel Tracker and image imports on Business and up
- Faster support tiers as you climb
The honest test: name the extension that solves a problem on your site today. If you cannot, the free theme plus the free builder of your choice is the right purchase. Speed tuning is free too, and our OceanWP speed guide walks through the Customizer settings that matter.
Lifetime tiers and the vendor's four-year promise
Each lifetime card says it pays for itself within four years. At today's charged prices that holds: Starter's $168 equals exactly four years at $42. Under the list-price reading of the renewal footnote, cheaper renewals push the break-even later for three of the four tiers.
| Lifetime price | Ahead of yearly at today's price | Ahead if renewals are 20% off list | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $168 | End of year four (a tie) | Year five |
| Personal | $195 | Year four | Year four |
| Business | $351 | Year four | Year five |
| Agency | $629 | Year four | Year five |
Read the lifetime cards closely, too. Starter and Personal include lifetime updates and lifetime basic support. Business and Agency lifetime cards list 12 months of premium and VIP support respectively, so the faster help on those tiers ends after a year even though the license does not. Lifetime suits a site you expect to keep on OceanWP for five years or more. For anything you might redesign sooner, pay yearly.
Pricing an OceanWP shop: year one, year three
The Pro Bundle is rarely the only OceanWP invoice. The vendor sells Ocean eCommerce Pro for stores, whose widgets are built for Elementor, and Site Booster, an optimization toolkit. Here is a one-site WooCommerce shop going all-in, with prices checked on the vendors' pages on October 6, 2026.
| Year one | Year three | Notes | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pro Bundle Starter | $42 | About $41.60 | Year three assumes renewals at 20% off a $52 list price |
| Ocean eCommerce Pro, Store plan | $39 (list $49) | $39 | One site; loyalty discount may apply |
| Elementor Pro | From $60 | From $60 | Elementor's pricing page says plans start at $60 a year |
| Site Booster Spark | $39 (list $49) | $39 | Or WP Rocket Single at $59.95 a year |
| SEO, backups, security | Varies | Varies | Free tiers exist |
| Total listed | From $180 | From about $179.60 | Before hosting and payment fees |
Three years comes to roughly $540 in licenses for a single shop, and the same site on the free theme with only a caching plugin would cost a fraction of that. Neither number includes the hours. Updates arrive from several vendors on their own schedules, and recent reports, such as the mobile menu failing when a host's script combining is on, or a WooCommerce layout breaking, are what those hours get spent on. For the Elementor side of the stack, see OceanWP with Elementor.
Seven ways to pay OceanWP only for what you use
- Launch on the free theme. Buy the bundle when a named extension earns it, not before.
- Skip Personal if you have one site. Staging and local copies are free on Starter.
- Apply for the loyalty discount first. Buy the Pro Bundle, then claim the 50% offer before paying full price for eCommerce Pro or Site Booster.
- Pick one optimization tool. Site Booster and a separate caching plugin both promise speed. Check which features you would actually use before paying for both.
- Choose lifetime only for a five-year site. Under the renewal footnote, yearly stays competitive for four years.
- Turn off auto-renew on retired sites. Subscriptions are on by default and can be canceled any time.
- Keep receipts. With undated promotions, your checkout email is the only record of what you were promised.
When an update has already gone wrong, our OceanWP repair hub starts with an update that broke the site. For tweaks the Customizer cannot reach, our theme customization service works inside a child theme, and our hosting and maintenance plans take over the update routine.
Five hundred dollars of plugins, or a store with none
The OceanWP stack is cheap per piece and busy as a whole: a theme, a companion plugin, a bundle, a store add-on, a builder and an optimizer, each with its own renewal and update notes. A Next.js site is one codebase with no theme license and no plugin renewals. Pages are prerendered and served from a CDN, and dependencies are pinned and tested before deploy. The fair trade-off is a higher up-front build and a developer for structural changes.
Every site we build includes Athena CMS, which has built-in e-commerce, plain fields, a real preview and every version kept. Its agents handle the upkeep: Argus watches for failing forms and slow pages, Aegis checks daily for intrusions, and Demeter drafts seasonal offers for approval. Compare the long-run numbers in WordPress vs Next.js cost and the price of moving in WordPress to Next.js migration cost. Store owners should also read WooCommerce to Next.js.
For a modest brochure site or small shop that works, OceanWP's free theme is good value and we would leave it alone. For the rest, see OceanWP vs Next.js and moving OceanWP to Next.js. Still choosing a theme? OceanWP vs Astra and the Astra pricing page cover the nearest rival, and the WordPress themes hub lists the rest.
Questions people ask before they call
As of October 2026, yearly plans are $42 for 1 site, $51 for 3, $95 for 10 and $170 for 300. Lifetime plans are $168, $195, $351 and $629 for the same site counts. All are shown as discounts from higher list prices, and all exclude VAT or sales tax.
The page does not say. It shows struck-through list prices with no end date, and its footnote describes all pricing during active promotions as special introductory pricing. We treat the lower figures as today's prices, not guarantees, and suggest saving your checkout confirmation.
The pricing page footnote says annual renewals are 20% off full price at the time of the purchase. If full price means today's list price, Starter would renew at about $41.60 and Business at about $84. Subscriptions renew automatically by default, and you can cancel at any time from your account.
New Pro Bundle purchases can be refunded in full if you ask within 14 days, with no questions asked. That is shorter than many theme vendors offer, so test the extensions on a staging copy right after buying. Staging and localhost licenses are free on every plan.
No. The theme and the Ocean Extra plugin are free on WordPress.org and run complete sites, including WooCommerce styling and eight header layouts. Buy the Pro Bundle for a specific extension or template you need. Not sure what your site needs? A free site audit will tell you.
