Storm repair
New Braunfels·September 2026
Emergency tarp and wind repair in New Braunfels
A Sunday-night storm peeled a twelve-foot run of ridge and shingles. Tarped by nine on Monday, repaired Wednesday, photographed for the owners' records. Time the attic spent open to the weather: one wet night.
Standing-seam metal
Alamo Heights·August 2026
Standing-seam metal on a 1940s cottage
The owners wanted a roof that would outlast them and a color the neighbors would forgive. 24-gauge panels in matte charcoal, new decking over the original plank, and flashing bent on site for two chimneys.
Asphalt shingle
Boerne·July 2026
Tear-off and a ventilation fix in Boerne
The shingles were 14 years old and looked 25. The cause was an attic with no intake vents. We added soffit intake and a ridge vent along with the new roof, so the next one ages at the normal rate.
Flat / TPO
Schertz·June 2026
TPO recover on a Schertz warehouse
A distribution building with water ponding at two drains. Tapered insulation crickets moved the water, a white 60-mil TPO membrane went over the top, and the tenant never closed a loading dock.
Asphalt shingle
Stone Oak·May 2026
Hail replacement on a two-story in Stone Oak
April hail bruised every slope. We documented it for the owners' claim, met the adjuster, and replaced 38 squares with impact-rated architectural shingles in two days. Six sheets of decking, priced before we started.
Tile
Helotes·March 2026
Clay tile repair after a wind storm
Twenty-two broken barrel tiles and a failed underlayment run along one valley. We lifted the tile, replaced the underlayment and reset the originals with matched salvage. The rest of the roof had decades left, so we said so.
What a project write-up should tell you
Before-and-after photos are easy to take and hard to learn from. What matters is the reasoning. Why this roof needed replacing and the neighbor's did not. Why the decking was soft by the chimney. Why fourteen-year-old shingles looked twenty-five.
So every project here says what we found, what we did, and what it cost the owners in time. The ones where we talked someone out of a full replacement are here too. They are some of our favorites.
Ask for an address
On a real roofer's site, this is where you would ask for finished roofs near you, and the roofer would share a few, with the owners' permission. Drive past. Look at the ridge line, the flashing at the chimney, the drip edge. A roof installed well looks quiet. A roof installed badly has opinions.
The projects we are proudest of
Not the biggest ones. The tile roof in Helotes that needed twenty-two tiles and new underlayment along one valley, when another bid said the whole roof had to go. The Boerne house whose shingles were aging early because the attic could not breathe; the new roof came with intake vents, so it will age at the normal rate. A roofer who fixes the cause is cheaper than one who keeps replacing the symptom.

Questions
Questions, answered plainly.
Still wondering?
Rooster, our assistant, answers roof and storm questions at any hour and can book the inspection.
On a real site, yes: ask, and the roofer would share a few addresses whose owners agreed to it. This company is fictional, so the projects here are written for the demonstration.
Do you photograph the work as it goes?
Yes. Deck before underlayment, underlayment before shingles, flashing before it is covered. You get the set, and so does the warranty file.
How long does a typical replacement take?
One or two days on the roof for most homes, three to five for standing-seam metal. Permits and material delivery add days on either side, and the start date comes in writing.
Can you match my neighbor's roof for the HOA?
Usually. Tell us the address or the color name on their approval letter, and we will find the closest current product and show it to you on your roof.
Do you repair tile, or only replace it?
We repair it whenever the tile itself has life left, which is often. Most tile roofs fail at the underlayment, not the tile, so we lift, re-underlay and reset.
