This is a demonstration website. DataCram Capital is a fictional firm, so there are no investor accounts, documents or statements to sign in to, and this page never asks for a username or password.

On a real fund’s site, this link opens the secure investor portal, usually run by the fund administrator or a specialist provider, with single sign-on and two-factor authentication. DataCram builds the site around it and links to it; the portal itself stays with the provider.

Careers

Hard problems, shared openly.

Programs for analysts, quantitative researchers, software engineers and operations, plus a summer internship, in New York, London and Singapore.

01

What we look for

People who enjoy finding the flaw in their own idea.

We do not hire for a particular degree. We hire for curiosity, care with details, and the habit of writing down what you think so other people can check it.

New joiners work on real problems from the first month, with a mentor, formal training, and colleagues who would rather answer a question than watch someone struggle with it.

02

Programs

Five ways in.

Each program has its own training and its own team. All of them start with the same application.

01

Investment Analyst Program

Who

Graduates and early career candidates with a strong interest in how businesses and economies work.

What you do

Rotations across fundamental research teams, with formal training in accounting, valuation and risk, then a placement with one team.

02

Quantitative Research

Who

Graduates in mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science or related fields, at any degree level.

What you do

Research on systematic models, from data cleaning to testing to monitoring, alongside experienced researchers.

03

Software Engineering

Who

Engineers who care about correctness, from new graduates to experienced hires.

What you do

Building the research platform, data pipelines and risk systems. Engineers sit with the teams who use their work.

04

Operations

Who

Graduates who like precision, systems and owning a process end to end.

What you do

Trade support, reconciliation, treasury and controls, with exposure to every strategy on the platform.

05

Summer Internship

Who

Students in their penultimate year of study, in any of the four tracks above.

What you do

Ten weeks on a real team with a real project, a mentor, and a final presentation to senior staff.

03

Puzzle of the month

November 2026

The honest ticker

A display shows the day's moves for five illustrative indexes, A to E. Exactly one of the five readings is broken and shows the wrong direction. Everything else is correct. You also know four true facts about the day:

  1. 1A and B moved in the same direction.
  2. 2If C rose, then D fell.
  3. 3An odd number of the five indexes rose.
  4. 4D and E moved in opposite directions.
The display shows
  • ARose
  • BRose
  • CRose
  • DRose
  • EFell

Which reading is broken?

Reveal the answerHide the answer

C is broken. C actually fell.

  1. A or B cannot be the broken one: flipping either would leave them moving in opposite directions, against the first fact.
  2. E cannot be broken either: flipping it would leave D and E both rising, against the fourth fact.
  3. That leaves C or D. Flipping D would make D and E both fall, against the fourth fact.
  4. So C is broken. Check it: A, B and D rose (three, an odd number), C fell so the second fact is not triggered, A and B agree, and D rose while E fell.

An original puzzle written for this demonstration. A new one would appear each month.

04

How hiring works

Four steps, and an answer at the end of each.

  1. 1

    Apply

A short form and a few sentences about what you would like to work on. No cover letter.

  2. 2

    A conversation

Thirty minutes with someone from the team you applied to, about your work and theirs.

  3. 3

    A real problem

A take-home or live exercise drawn from the kind of work the team actually does.

  4. 4

    Final round

Meetings with the team and its partners in risk, technology or operations. Then a decision, quickly.

05

Apply

A short application.

Choose a program, tell us where you are now, and write a few sentences about what you would like to work on.
