Why start with human genetics
Targets supported by human genetic evidence have historically been substantially more likely to survive clinical development than those chosen from cell or animal models alone. That single filter is the reason our discovery engine begins with patient cohorts rather than a screening library.
It also shapes how we run studies. Because the biology is chosen from human data, the biomarker is usually obvious before the protocol is written — so a Phase 1 answers a real question instead of only establishing tolerability.
